China Completes the World's Largest Fusion Magnet: A 582-Ton "Artificial Sun"

The Hefei Institute of Plasma Physics has finished testing the superconducting toroidal magnet for the BEST reactor, capable of confining plasma at 100 million degrees and targeting electricity generation through fusion by 2030.
